Everything you need to know before booking, from pricing and packages to what to expect on the day.
Good photography is one of the few things from your wedding or session that you'll return to again and again, long after the day has passed.
It’s best to have references ready if you have a vision in mind, if not, there’s no panic at all.
Leave the recommendations & shoot in your natural element to me.
Yes! Please take me with you guysssss! Package comes with a driver (AKA me!). Don’t worry I’m a really safe driver! And I’ll also be your coffee buddy. Let me know where you’d like and we can customize something for you!
Lunch is usually 8 hours while Dinner is usually 10 hours. Everyone is different! What I advise is do it the way you want your wedding to be or let us know what you roughly have planned (gate crash, solemnisation, tea ceremony etc.) and we can advise accordingly.
Break periods will not be counted into the total hours if there are at least 3 hours in between activities (eg. end of Tea Ceremony @ 2pm to Solemnisation @ 6pm)
To confirm the date, I’ll need a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% will be collected after completion of the photoshoot.
It really depends, usually it’s 30 mins before the end of the bride’s makeup. This way, we can capture a little bit of the prep. It’s a story after all and we definitely would like a proper beginning to the day!
Nope. All usable photos will be returned to you guys. If 600 or 800 photos are selected, I’ll have them all edited and delivered.
I do hope that couples are able to provide the transportation for me on your wedding day so I can be as close to your movements as possible. If you’re cool with me joining you guys in the bridal car, I’m more than happy! It’s much easier when I don’t need to be finding carpark and you guys don’t need to wait for me just to start the next activity.
Yes! No worries at all. Do let me know about this if you’re not comfortable.
Only a split-day charge. I do not have early morning surcharge or any other hidden cost. What you see on the rate card is what’s chargeable.
First thing to do is to let me know the date of your wedding! Regardless of a Pre-Wedding Shoot or the Actual Day, knowing the date of your wedding is really important.
Next, let us have a quick chat/meeting so that I can better understand what you might be looking for on your special day. Once we have the meeting, I’ll send you guys an invoice to confirm the date with a deposit.
We can do the meeting in person or over zoom!
The meeting is so that I can better understand what you are looking for, and for you guys to know more about the whole wedding journey/day process. It’s something you guys will go through once in a lifetime, while we have gone through many, so it can be helpful to hear our advice.
We will try to get the photos to you ASAP! But we do ask for at least 12 weeks from the date of the photoshoot.
We don’t provide raw images, but all usable photos will be edited before returning to you.
We at Mark Wong Photography aim to keep our photos as natural-looking as possible. Photoshopping is kept only to a minimal level (eg. removal of blemishes), as extensive use of it could end up making the photos look artificial. We do not engage in large scale photoshopping such as background changing, slimming of features etc.
Not at the moment.
